The Project Objectives
- Develop a teaching curriculum for new courses on low-cost wastewater treatment for MSc level students in Europe and Asia
- Strengthen and enlarge existing partnership between partner institutions
Description
The objective of the project is to develop a teaching curriculum for new courses on low-cost wastewater treatment for MSc level students in Europe and Asia. The course will review the different low-cost treatment methods existing in the partner countries and will focus on sharing the experience of the partner institutions. Course literature and teaching materials will be prepared, and study visits, workshops, and training sessions organised to upgrade the skills of the experts from the different universities. The curriculum developed for the MSc level will be implemented during three months in China and jointly reviewed by all partner institutions.
Milestones/Key Indicators
The project will result in a complete developed curriculum, already tested and improved. The teachers will be trained and will have in hand all the teaching materials needed to renew the experience through years. The project will raise awareness and strengthen the capacity of the involved professionals in alternative sanitation concepts and methods.
